Waimanu Park is situated in Waipukurau Central Hawke's Bay, N.Z where Touche and Waimanu Idol are the resident stallions.
Touche (pronounced Too-shay) is a NZ bred Pinto 3/4 TB Sporthorse, standing 16hh. He leaves both Pinto and solid coloured foals.
Waimanu Idol is also a Pinto and is DNA tested Homozygous, leaving 100% Pinto foals, he is also 3/4 TB. His EMH is 16.3hh
Both are available to outside mares 1Sept - 31 Dec annually.
We Jill Reid and Gerald Birdsall enjoy breeding, breaking in and often hunting and/or competing our horses before they are sold on. We follow with interest all the Touche and Idol progeny as well as the older Waimanu horses.
Unbroken young stock are also available.
Our aim is to produce sensible, versatile Sporthorses that cater for all equine disciplines.
So far we have successfully produced Hunters, Eventers, Show Jumpers, Show Hunters, Dressage and Pony Club horses.
We're also making and supplying 'Bean Bag Ponies'.
